Who are we?
Vinny
With a lifelong background in sport, Vinny brings a technical yet empathetic approach to the Reformer.
A former competitive swimmer and rower, Vinny became a British Rowing qualifies coach in 2010.
This experience in both grassroots & elite sport provided a deep understanding of movement, discipline, and physical performance.
Vinny’s perspective changed through rehabilitation coming back from knee surgery only to be faced with progressive hip and back pain, eventually daily life became impossible due to severe sciatica. Back surgery marked a slow & painful road to recover, the turning point being physio recommendation of begginer mat Pilates.
What started as a necessity became a passion; With time and commitment mat Pilates gave Vinny a path to movement with less pain.
The next step for Vinny was to introduce the resistance of the Reformer, this was key to rebuilding her strength and moving past chronic pain.
This outlet for movement and concentration, mixed with a thirst for understanding more, lead Vinny to Teacher Training.
What to Expect in Class
Vinny’s sessions offer a balance of athletic challenge and mindful restoration. Vinny brings first hand empathy of someone who has navigated injury, and wants to help clients:
Build Resilience: Develop long-term functional strength.
Improve Performance: Enhance movement power and efficiency.
Move Freely: Reduce restriction, improve controlled flexibility and manage physical discomfort.
Whether you are training for fitness, sporting goal, general movement maintenance or recovering from an injury, Vinny focuses on guiding you through movement to build a body that supports you for the long term.
